I have not written this FRIDAY NOTES FROM THE QURAN Column in a very long time.  Well Israel is the perennial hot topic.

The Bani Israel or the Children of Israel are mentioned 41 times in the Quran. They are the only people who are mentioned 41 times in the Quran.

46:10     Say: "Do you see, indeed it was from Allah, and you reject it, while a witness from the Children of Israel witnessed to its similarity, and he believed, while you turned arrogant? Surely, ALLAH does not guide the wicked people." 

27:76     Indeed, this Quran clarifies for the Children of Israel most of what they differ over. 

5:72 Rejectors indeed are those who say that ALLAH is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship ALLAH; my Lord and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside ALLAH, ALLAH has forbidden JANNA for him, and his destiny is the Fire. The wicked have no helpers.

32:23   We have given Moses the scripture - do not harbor any doubt about meeting Him - and we made it a guide for the Children of Israel.
